The Gemlik olives (PDO) we use are single origin and single varietal. Our Everyday EVOO olives come from Gemlik, Türkiye in the Gemlik olive PDO region. They are hand-picked to select for ripeness prior to being cold-pressed into Nicea extra virgin olive oil within 12 hours.

Our Everyday EVOO has a delicate, nutty taste. It has the aroma of fresh olives. Our Everyday EVOO can be used for cooking, baking, and dishes where you desire a minor contribution of olive oil to the flavor palette.

The olives were harvested and pressed on December 12, 2025. We laboratory tested our harvest at export time as opposed to at press (so several months later) with the following results:

  • Free Fatty Acids (FFAs): 0.79%

  • UV K270 Absorptance: 0.13

  • Peroxides: 14.2 meq/kg

Based on the prior year’s testing, we expect polyphenol levels between 160-190 mg/kg.
